Job Description 
 
This unique role will have you sitting overall food outlets as precinct Sous Chef.  You will be responsible for supporting and driving the team in each venue’s kitchen.   This role will have you working both in service in different venues, as well as working with the culinary team to drive efficiencies, assisting with administrative requirements, mentoring and training.   This is a great opportunity for a chef ready to transition into more of a kitchen administrative role.
  
The precinct is continually evolving to ensure it remains a destination for local and destination diners for years to come, you will be pivotal in this process.

Candidate Profile  

To be successful in this role you will have: 
  • Experience at a Sous chef level for a minimum of 2 years
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Proven management of Labour Costs and Food Costs
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced venue
  • Impressive 'foodie' knowledge - technical cooking - yet served in an uncomplicated way 
  • Experience as a Senior Chef for a high volume venue
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously 
  • The authority to command respect 
  • High food standards in both taste and presentation 
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Team-player skills and lead by example

This role is offering a very strong remuneration package, with an excellent base salary for the right candidate. The remuneration will reflect your skills and the level of experience you can bring to the kitchen team. 

This group is open to applicants requiring a work visa transfer.
