Job Description
As the Venue Manager, you will be accountable for the ongoing execution of all tasks related to the successful operation and commercial success of the venue.
You will guide and build your team while overseeing a wide array of product offerings spanning traditional on-premise drivers including food, beverage, functions, gaming and retail.
Being a long-standing stalwart of the Darwin hospitality scene, and a must-go venue for travellers, this venue is high volume and delivers fantastic revenue opportunities through its ongoing entertainment program.
The role will enable you to cover all aspects of the business as well as continue to foster strong community relationships. It represents your opportunity to elevate your career to the next level by leading a large, dynamic hospitality operation to elevated levels of trade and general performance.
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience as a Venue or General Manager in a large food, beverage and gaming venue with strong entertainment
- Understanding of compliance relating to security personnel and managing large crowds.
- The ability to recruit, develop, lead and motivate your team
- A genuine passion for hospitality fuelling a hands-on approach and being the face of the business
- Complete understanding of regulatory compliance across food, beverage and gaming
- A strategic mindset focused on incremental revenue growth
- Police Check required - it is a requirement of the licensee holder to have zero criminal record.
This role is based in Darwin, Northern Territory, offering a strong remuneration package.
