Job Description

An opportunity exists for an experienced Venue Manager to take full operational leadership of a large-format pub in a prominent regional coastal township. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing all aspects of the business including food and beverage, gaming, functions and compliance.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will be accountable for financial performance, team development and maintaining exceptional service standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full P&L accountability including budgeting, forecasting and cost control

  • Leading, mentoring and developing a diverse hospitality team

  • Driving revenue growth across food, beverage and gaming operations

  • Ensuring full compliance with liquor, gaming and WHS regulations

  • Building strong relationships within the local community

Candidate Profile

You are an experienced Venue Manager or an ambitious Assistant Venue Manager ready to step into a larger-scale operation. You bring commercial acumen, natural leadership capability and a passion for regional hospitality.

You will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience managing a high-volume pub or hotel

  • Strong financial management and reporting capability

  • Expertise across food, beverage and gaming operations

  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to build culture

  • Sound knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
