Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Venue Manager to lead our flagship location in Sydney. As part of a prestigious international hotel group, this is an opportunity to be at the forefront of delivering world-class service in an iconic venue.  

You will:
  • Lead, manage, and inspire a large team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Oversee all operational aspects of the venue, including service standards, guest satisfaction, staff performance, and venue presentation.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene, in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Work closely with the hotel’s senior management and other departments to ensure seamless integration of the venue’s offerings within the hotel’s overall guest experience.
  • Maintain and foster relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, corporate clients, and VIP guests.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitors, ensuring the venue remains competitive and innovative in its offerings.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff 

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role you will have;
  • Experience as a leader in a premium restaurant, under pressure, and with professionalism
  • Strong knowledge around sequence of service 
  • Experience in budget management and cost control
  • Excellent personal presentation, good communication and time management skills
  • Ability to lead and develop a team.
