Job Description


The Venue Manager will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations, driving staff culture, and maintaining high service standards. This is a hands-on role suited to a natural communicator who leads by example and builds rapport with regular patrons.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing rosters, recruitment, onboarding and team development

  • Overseeing floor operations, including service delivery and guest engagement

  • Driving weekly financial reconciliations and stock control

  • Maintaining venue standards and assisting with local marketing activations

  • Fostering a culture of retention and performance within a young, vibrant team

Candidate Profile


The ideal candidate is a hospitality leader with a warm, engaging personality and a genuine passion for people. You will bring proven experience in high-volume venues, with the ability to motivate a youthful team and connect with a predominantly local clientele.

 

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • A hands-on approach to leadership and service

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive mindset

  • Confidence managing teams of 30+ across FOH and BOH

  • Strong operational understanding, including stock, maintenance, and rosters

  • The ability to work a flexible roster and thrive in a community-focused environment
