The Role

The Venue Manager will play a pivotal role in the reopening of a flagship venue in Melbourne. This position, reporting to the General Manager, will focus on developing the venue’s events and functions offering while sharing operational responsibilities. The role provides a strong pathway for professional growth within the group.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing the events and functions arm of the venue

  • Supporting the General Manager in day-to-day operations

  • Upholding high service standards and contributing to a sophisticated dining offering

  • Ensuring compliance with governance, financial, and reporting frameworks

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will bring strong operational knowledge and a passion for the events and functions part of the business. They will thrive in structured environments, be adaptable to robust governance processes, and bring energy and resilience to their work.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Experience in events, functions, and operations within a high-volume hospitality venue

  • Financial acumen, including familiarity with COGS, rostering, and performance metrics

  • A willingness to learn and adapt to structured reporting processes

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate within a team

  • Alignment with the company’s values and culture
