Job Description

The Assistant Venue Manager will support the Venue Manager in delivering a high-quality, food-led experience, with a strong emphasis on service, team leadership, and operational excellence. This role is hands-on and guest-facing, ideal for someone who thrives on the floor and leads by example.

  • Oversee daily service with a focus on food quality and guest satisfaction

  • Lead front-of-house teams to deliver consistent, high-level service standards

  • Work closely with the kitchen to ensure seamless service execution

  • Maintain compliance with licensing, RSA, and operational requirements

  • Support rostering, stock control, and cost management


Candidate Profile

You are a service-driven hospitality leader with a passion for food, people, and creating exceptional guest experiences. You bring strong operational discipline alongside a natural ability to engage with both team and guests.

  • Experience in a supervisory or Assistant Venue Manager role in food-led venues

  • Strong focus on guest experience and service delivery

  • Proven ability to lead and develop front-of-house teams

  • Solid understanding of licensing and compliance requirements

  • Hands-on leadership style with excellent communication skills
