Job Description
As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of a busy, premium kitchen. This includes assisting with seasonal menu execution, maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency, and contributing to cost control and kitchen efficiency. You will help supervise and train junior staff, foster a collaborative and positive kitchen culture, and ensure compliance with all food safety standards. Working closely with the Head Chef and Group Executive Chef, you will have the opportunity to influence menu development and operational processes while being actively involved on the tools during service.
Candidate Profile
To be considered for this role you will have:

Minimum 3–4 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a recognised, high-volume or award-winning environment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and support a motivated team.

A hands-on approach with the ability to assist in planning and delivering seasonal menus.

Effective communication skills to work closely with the Head Chef, suppliers, and team members.

A collaborative, positive mindset with a focus on consistency and service excellence.

Understanding of food cost, labour control, and the ability to contribute to profitability.

Full knowledge of food safety and WHS compliance.
