Our client is a dynamic and expanding hospitality group with a diverse portfolio of venues and strategic joint ventures. With a strong leadership team and a focus on innovation, they are seeking a commercial finance professional to support growth, performance, and strategic investment.

Job Description

The Commercial Finance Manager will lead the group's financial planning and analysis function, supporting the CFO in driving performance through accurate forecasting, business partnering, and financial modelling. The role plays a critical part in delivering insights across operations and leadership, contributing to high-level decision-making.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting across all venues using 3-way financial models
  • Deliver business and investment analysis using IRR and other key metrics
  • Oversee reporting across the group and JV partners using Phocas BI, Excel, and other platforms
  • Ensure compliance with bank covenants and funding requirements
  • Champion the rollout and adoption of BI tools across the business
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to develop tailored KPIs and reporting tools
Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a technically strong finance professional with a commercial mindset. Experience in multi-site businesses such as hospitality, retail, or property is essential, along with a passion for leveraging data to drive performance.
  • 2+ years' experience in financial modelling and investment analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Phocas or similar BI tools is essential
  • Background in multi-entity business environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, business-partnering approach
  • Proven ability to improve reporting processes and support strategic planning
