Job Description
As Restaurant Manager, you will be a key decision-maker within the business, working closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and senior Heads of Department. You’ll lead the front-of-house team, influence operational strategy, and take ownership of service delivery, guest experience, and commercial performance
As Restaurant Manager you will:
- A strong understanding of Japanese cuisine, beverage pairing, and modern service techniques
- Play an active role in business planning, team development, and operational improvements
- Lead and mentor a team across FOH operations with a focus on premium service standards
- Manage rosters, floor operations, bookings, and guest relations
- Collaborate closely with chefs, bar leadership, and senior managers to align on service, events, and promotions
- Manage performance, training, and development of FOH team members
- Monitor and report on venue performance, contributing to revenue growth and cost control
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience in restaurant management or senior FOH roles in Japanese premium or fine dining restaurants
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills
- Passion for Japanese cuisine, sake, and beverage-led service environments
- Intimate understanding of the Japanese culture and
