Job Description
The Restaurant Manager holds overall accountability for the operational and financial performance of the venue, with direct leadership of the Front of House team. This role ensures exceptional guest service delivery while managing labour, forecasting, cost control and compliance. Working closely with senior leadership and kitchen management, you will drive service excellence and commercial outcomes in line with established standards.
Key responsibilities include:

Lead daily service execution, maintaining exceptional guest standards

Oversee labour management, forecasting and cost control across Front of House

Manage recruitment, onboarding and performance development of the team

Analyse stocktake data and business metrics to achieve financial targets

Strengthen collaboration between front and back of house to deliver cohesive service

Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety and food standards legislation
Candidate Profile
You are an experienced hospitality professional with demonstrated success in an operational management role within a restaurant environment. You are commercially astute, highly organised and deeply committed to delivering exceptional guest service. With strong leadership capability, you confidently mentor supervisors and assistant managers while maintaining a visible presence on the floor.
You will bring:

Proven experience in restaurant operational management

Strong financial acumen across labour, forecasting and cost control

Experience leading structured training and performance review processes

Responsible Service of Alcohol certification

Confidence using POS, reservations and workforce management systems
