The group continues to grow and invest in its venues, creating opportunities for capable leaders to step into impactful operational roles. Their South-West Sydney property now requires an experienced Operations Manager to support daily management and contribute to long-term venue performance.

Job Description

The Operations Manager / Second-in-Charge will play a central role in overseeing the venue’s daily activity, ensuring smooth service delivery and consistent operational standards. Working closely with the Venue Manager, this position is suited to a hands-on leader who enjoys being present on the floor and engaging with the local community.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting in the coordination of all day-to-day venue operations
  • Providing leadership, coaching, and support to front-of-house teams
  • Maintaining compliance, service quality, and venue presentation
  • Strengthening the pub’s connection with its surrounding community
  • Supporting cost control, stock management, and workforce planning
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience from a busy pub or similar environment and demonstrate confidence in leading teams in a fast-paced setting. You will be customer-focused, operationally strong, and motivated to contribute to a positive and productive workplace.
