Their incredible newly renovated restaurant in the heart of Brisbane, setting the new standard in dining for their discerning clientele.

As the Pastry chef of this esteemed restaurant, you will be accountable for delivering great, consistent food while maintaining a strong focus on variable cost control. 
  
The pastry offering has a focus on using the best seasonal produce. As the leader of the pastry program, you will work closely with the Head Chef and Executive Chef to develop and push the venue forward.  

This is not a typical pastry chef role, you will be challenged to deliver the finest, most innovative food the market has seen. We want to work with the new breed; people who challenge the perceptions around the quality that is possible in a fine dining environment.

Candidate Profile 
 
To be considered for this role you will have; 
  • Experience as a Pastry Chef in an a-la-carte restaurant
  • Display creativity and a passion for all things pastry
  • Exemplary leadership skills with a focus on staff development
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build effective relationships
  • Maintain portion control and stock rotation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptable to change
  • Solution-focused and possess initiative
Offer 
 
This role is offering a very strong remuneration package comprised of an excellent base salary with the expectation of strong tips when the restaurant is trading.
