Their Brisbane CBD venue is a well-established destination, recognised for its high-volume dining, events and premium guest experience.

Job Description

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Operations Manager / 2IC to join the leadership team of this iconic Brisbane venue. Working closely with the Venue Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations across a large-scale food, beverage and functions offering.

This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and can drive both team performance and guest experience.

The venue is purely F&B, with no gaming or wagering facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Venue Manager with daily venue operations and team leadership

  • Overseeing service standards across restaurant, bar and functions

  • Leading, mentoring and developing a large front-of-house team

  • Driving operational efficiency, service quality and financial performance

  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures, licensing and safety standards

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be an experienced hospitality leader with a strong background in high-volume food and beverage environments. You will bring a confident leadership style, strong commercial awareness and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key attributes include:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a high-volume venue

  • Strong background in food and beverage focused operations

  • Experience managing large teams and busy service environments

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • A proactive and hands-on approach to leadership
