The group continues to expand and now seeks an experienced leader to support the operations of one of their key Western Sydney venues.
Job Description
The Operations Manager / 2IC will oversee daily venue performance, drive guest experience standards, and support the Venue Manager in leading a large and diverse team. This role requires a capable operator who thrives in high-volume environments and is motivated by operational excellence and team development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Venue Manager in all aspects of daily operations
- Leading, coaching, and motivating front-of-house teams
- Ensuring service standards, compliance, and venue presentation are consistently upheld
- Driving community engagement and building strong local customer relationships
- Assisting with rostering, stock control, and cost management
You will be an operations-focused hospitality leader with experience in busy pub environments and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. You enjoy being on the floor, building rapport with guests and team members, and contributing to a collaborative leadership culture.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Previous leadership experience in pubs or similar high-volume venues
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Proven capability in operational systems, procedures, and compliance
- A hands-on approach and willingness to lead from the front
- A commitment to fostering a positive and community-minded environment
