Job Description
An exceptional opportunity exists for an experienced Licensee to take full operational and commercial accountability for a landmark Northern Beaches venue. This is a complex, multi-faceted operation encompassing high-volume food and beverage outlets, vibrant entertainment programming, functions and events, and on-site accommodation.
Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving financial performance, leading a diverse and experienced management team and positioning the venue as a destination across both local and broader Sydney markets. The role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on leadership, ensuring operational excellence while identifying new revenue opportunities across all facets of the business.
Key responsibilities include:

Full P&L accountability across all revenue streams including bars, dining, events and accommodation

Strategic leadership of department heads across operations, entertainment and rooms

Driving revenue growth initiatives, yield optimisation and disciplined cost control

Overseeing major entertainment, marketing and event programming strategies

Ensuring best-practice compliance across liquor, gaming, accommodation and WHS regulations

Leading workforce planning, talent development and succession strategies

Building strong community, supplier and key stakeholder relationships
Candidate Profile
You are an experienced General Manager or Licensee with a proven track record leading large-format, multi-revenue hospitality venues. You bring strong commercial acumen, operational depth and the ability to lead through scale and complexity. You are comfortable managing diverse revenue streams and understand the nuances of entertainment-driven trade in a competitive market.
You will demonstrate:

Proven success managing high-turnover pubs or hotels

Experience overseeing entertainment, events and accommodation operations

Strong financial literacy with advanced budgeting, forecasting and reporting capability

A collaborative leadership style with the ability to develop and inspire senior managers

Exceptional stakeholder management and community engagement skills

Sound knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks
