Job Description
The HR Business Partner will play a central role in supporting venue management, ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and fostering a positive, engaged workplace culture. The role is a mix of strategic advisory and hands-on support, working across a varied and dynamic venue portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with managers to guide best practice in HR, IR, and performance matters
- Supporting staff with approachable, confidential HR guidance
- Managing ER cases, investigations, and compliance-related activity
- Identifying HR risks and implementing solutions to support operational effectiveness
- Contributing to policy, training, and process improvements across the group
The ideal candidate is approachable, commercially aware, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. They are confident advising managers, empathetic with team members, and clear in their communication.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Previous HR experience in hospitality, retail, or multi-site environments
- Strong working knowledge of Fair Work and employment legislation
- Excellent relationship-building and problem-solving skills
- A calm and pragmatic approach to people-related issues
- HR qualifications or equivalent experience in a generalist advisory role
