Job Description
This 12-month contract role has been created to lead commercial growth, with a strong focus on events, weddings and local engagement. Operating as a project-based leader, you will bring structure, strategy and momentum to an established regional venue ready to elevate its market presence.
Working closely with senior leadership and the on-site team, you will develop and implement event packages, establish clear sales processes and strengthen marketing activity to drive revenue. This role requires hands-on venue leadership, commercial thinking and the confidence to introduce new initiatives in a measured and collaborative way.
Key responsibilities include:

Developing and launching wedding and event packages aligned to market demand

Implementing structured sales processes and conversion strategies

Driving marketing initiatives to increase local and corporate engagement

Identifying opportunities to expand corporate hospitality and charter activity

Leading weekly management collaboration to embed change effectively
Candidate Profile
You are a commercially astute hospitality leader with experience delivering growth projects, ideally within boutique venues, regional operations or event-driven businesses. You are proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable working autonomously while engaging a close-knit local team.
You bring authenticity, resilience and the ability to navigate regional community dynamics with confidence and respect. Most importantly, you turn strategy into tangible outcomes.

Willingness to relocate to regional Tasmania for the contract period

This is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension based on performance and business growth. Accommodation support is available, either on-site or nearby, and relocation assistance will be considered. Performance-based incentives may also apply.
