As Head Sommelier, you will take ownership of the restaurant’s wine program, curating a world-class list that complements the fine dining menu. This role demands deep wine knowledge, strong supplier relationships, and the ability to engage guests with warmth and expertise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining an innovative wine list
- Leading and mentoring the sommelier and service teams
- Driving wine service standards to enhance the guest experience
- Managing supplier relationships, purchasing, and stock control
- Training staff to deliver knowledgeable and confident wine service
The successful candidate will be an accomplished sommelier with experience in premium dining and the ambition to achieve industry recognition.
You will bring:
- Proven experience as a Sommelier in a hatted or Michelin-starred restaurant
- Exceptional knowledge of global wine regions and trends
- Strong leadership and team training capability
- Ability to engage guests and deliver an elevated dining experience
- Passion to curate an award-winning wine program
