Our client’s venue it one of the region's only true large scale waterfront venues, and is a 'must do' for visitors and locals. Spread over 3 distinct spaces, it caters for a range of occasions and has hit the mark with their fit-out, offering and service style.
2026 will see the venue expand, with an exciting project to look forward to.
Job Description
Reporting directly into the General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the food component of the venue, that being a full service restaurant, alongside a more casual dining area. You will have a huge focus on guest experience, overseeing the restaurant teams, and helping spearhead a project in 2026.
You will thrive in an extremely busy environment and have a hands-on management style. You will utilise your customer service & product-focused background to educate and improve those working around you, elevating your team's knowledge and skills in the process. With this, you will help drive the venue through further growth and success.

Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At least three years experience as a General Manager or Restaurant Manager in a large-scale, high-volume premium venue
- Exemplary management skills and the ability to work autonomously
- A solid understanding of all things food and beverage
- Strong financial acumen relevant to P&L management and cost control
- Amazing customer service with a guest-forward approach
- A genuine passion for hospitality fuelling a hands-on approach
- Experience in regional hospitality as well as large-scale events
- An eye for detail and the ability to influence those around you
