The Head Chef will be responsible for shaping and leading the culinary identity of the estate’s flagship restaurant. With major developments underway, including a luxury hotel and conference facilities, the role offers the opportunity to build a dining program that will grow in scale and prestige. Success will require a chef with vision, creativity, and the operational skill to deliver consistency at the highest level. This is a hands-on position suited to a leader who is present in the kitchen, passionate about mentoring their team, and committed to creating refined, memorable dining experiences that position the venue as a true destination.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing innovative, seasonal menus showcasing local produce
- Leading kitchen operations with a focus on consistency, quality, and creativity
- Building and mentoring a high-performing kitchen brigade
- Collaborating with stakeholders on the property's evolving food and wine strategy
- Playing an active role in raising the venue's profile nationally and internationally
The successful candidate will be a high-calibre chef with the drive and pedigree to establish a restaurant of national significance. They will have experience in fine dining, a strong culinary vision, and the ability to thrive in a hands-on environment.
