As Head Chef, you're directly responsible for the venue’s culinary direction, managing a small but capable team, while creating menus that reflect the venue’s character and regional bounty. The role demands creativity, leadership and a deep connection to produce and provenance.
- Full menu autonomy with scope to innovate and evolve
- Lead, mentor and develop a passionate kitchen team
- Maintain high standards of food quality and kitchen operations
- Cultivate relationships with local producers and suppliers
- Champion a sustainable, seasonal and locally inspired food philosophy
The ideal candidate is a capable and inspiring leader with a strong understanding of regional dining and a refined approach to food. They will have the ability to guide and elevate a kitchen team while crafting memorable culinary experiences.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in quality venues
- Strong skills in menu development and palate refinement
- Ability to train, mentor and inspire a team
- Deep appreciation for local, seasonal produce
- Strong organisational and communication skills
