Job Description

Reporting directly to the Business Manager, the Head Chef will lead a well-established kitchen brigade in a hands-on capacity. This is a leadership role for a chef who is present during service, confident on the tools and committed to maintaining premium standards.

The restaurant delivers high-volume services while maintaining premium standards. The successful candidate will take ownership of culinary standards while ensuring operational efficiency and strong team development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading culinary operations and food quality standards

  • Driving menu development, costing and seasonal menu writing

  • Managing food cost control, ordering and kitchen financial performance

  • Overseeing labour planning and brigade efficiency

  • Recruiting, mentoring and developing a high-performing kitchen team

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an experienced Head Chef from a premium, structured environment or a strong Senior Sous Chef ready to step into their first Head Chef role. A background in high-end steak and refined Italian cuisine is highly regarded.

You will be a hands-on leader who thrives in service, sets clear standards and builds strong team culture without compromising quality.
