Job Description

As the Head Chef, you will in a true leadership role, delivering a positive, inclusive and welcoming culture for colleagues and customers alike. In addition to being accountable for delivering great, consistent food with excellent financial returns, you will be responsible for hiring, training and developing your team to ensure their ability matches your expectations.  be responsible for the day to day running of food operations. 

You will utilise your high-level culinary skills, people management and kitchen management experience to produce an exceptional guest experience. With this you will drive the venue to further growth and success.

The role of Head Chef reports directly to an internationally renowned executive chef who will be bringing their unique style of Nordic produce drive cuisine to Australia for the first time.

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • At least three years experience in a leadership role in a hatted or Michelin star environment
  • Pre-opening experience will be held in high regard
  • Exemplary management skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Industry-leading culinary skills with cuisine flexibility
  • A genuine passion for a hands-on approach to lead your team
  • Modern skills for stock ordering, receiving and minimising wastage
  • A highly structured and organised approach

This fantastic role is offering a strong remuneration package comprised of a generous base salary plus super.
