The Role:
The Client is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead all kitchen operations, including culinary direction, team leadership, and operational discipline. This is a senior hands-on role suited to a chef with experience driving creative seasonal menus, managing a large brigade, and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency across service.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all culinary operations, managing a brigade of approximately 22 chefs and cooks
Drive innovation through the development of seasonal menus and daily special offerings
Maintain rigorous standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative culture and professional growth
Maintain operational discipline across food cost control, portioning, prep scheduling, and waste management
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with FOH leadership to align kitchen output with service expectations and guest experience
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
Strong culinary leadership with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams
Proven ability to innovate menu concepts and execute them at scale
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Highly organised, with strong operational acumen and attention to detail
