The operation is known for its innovative food concepts, strong team culture, and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences. Supported by a professional leadership group and an energetic service environment, this venue offers a unique culinary platform in a vibrant metropolitan location.
 

The Role:

The Client is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead all kitchen operations, including culinary direction, team leadership, and operational discipline. This is a senior hands-on role suited to a chef with experience driving creative seasonal menus, managing a large brigade, and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency across service. 


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all culinary operations, managing a brigade of approximately 22 chefs and cooks

  • Drive innovation through the development of seasonal menus and daily special offerings

  • Maintain rigorous standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency

  • Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative culture and professional growth

  • Maintain operational discipline across food cost control, portioning, prep scheduling, and waste management

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with FOH leadership to align kitchen output with service expectations and guest experience


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen

  • Strong culinary leadership with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams

  • Proven ability to innovate menu concepts and execute them at scale

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Highly organised, with strong operational acumen and attention to detail
