Job Description
Matso’s has always been a little different, but we’re proud of that. Sometimes our remoteness has forced our hand, other times the heat has driven us to think differently about flavour and refreshment. From tropical places, with tropical heat, it takes a lot of Australian character and a great sense of humour to thrive.
Starting life as Australia’s most remote brewery at our spiritual home in Broome WA, Matso’s is now enjoyed at pubs, bars and backyards right across the country. In late December 2023, we launched Matso's on the other side of the country in Eumundi on the beautiful and laid-back Sunshine Coast.
Inspired by our original, our second home taps into the heritage of an old Queensland pub with a stunning modern extension that opens onto a massive backyard and beer garden.
The Venue:
- Located on the main street of Eumundi, directly across from the famous Eumundi Markets
- All-day dining, 7 days a week
- 400+ seats plus a big outdoor area
This is an alluring opportunity to be part of something new, to grow and nurture talented, skilled chefs who, with your guidance and dedication, can bring the venue into the eye of the hospitality dining scene.
This role demands a true leader, a Chef who can lead from the front and build on the culture of being the best and growing your team to be the best in a positive environment. You are responsible for the growth and daily operations of this stellar venue.
