Job Description
The Head Chef will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operation, leading the brigade to deliver high-quality food in a busy, fast-paced environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive consistency, develop the team, and contribute creatively to a French-influenced menu while maintaining strong operational control.
Key responsibilities include:

Writing and developing menus that reflect a French-leaning, produce-driven style

Leading, mentoring, and managing a well-established kitchen team

Overseeing kitchen rostering and labour management

Managing ordering, supplier relationships, and stock control

Maintaining food cost targets and strong kitchen operational standards
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a confident Head Chef or experienced Senior Sous Chef ready to take ownership of a busy waterfront venue. They will bring strong leadership capability, organisational skills, and an appreciation for French-influenced cuisine executed with premium seasonal produce.
Key attributes include:
