Job Description

ABOUT US

There is nothing average about working at Shine+ Drink. We have daily rituals and learn consistently from inspirational leaders and each other.  But most importantly we challenge each other to be better every day.  Shine+ Drink was developed in 2016 by Steve Chapman and Dr Sam Prince to help people think, feel and do better.  With our new twist on age-old ingredients (nootropics) we are on a mission to rid the world of bad energy and become the number 1 better-for-you beverage in Australia.

THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity in our Supply Chain team for a Planning Specialist to join our high performing team. This is a critical role in supporting our growth as we continue to scale.  Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, plenty of coaching and professional development is on offer.  No two days are the same and you will get to experience:
  • Manage the overall back-end supply chain from Demand to Supply to Production to raw materials inventory.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to create/align the customer forecast.
  • Execute demand planning components of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) with a focus on eliminating bias and improving forecast accuracy via fact-based insights.
  • Facilitate cross-functional agreement of volume assumptions for events and market trends (ie. promotions, sampling) via Demand Review Meetings.
  • Receive, process, and analyse the promotional forecast submissions from the Sales team and flag any potential risks leading to service gaps.
  • Participate in supply review meetings, identify potential gaps and support actions to offset potential impacts.
  •  Generate monthly production schedules to ensure customer demand is met.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end ingredient procurement process, ensuring shortages are mitigated.
  • Balance inventory in the network, considering transport costs, storage costs, and service level.
  • Create and process purchase orders, and monitor open purchase orders.
  • Create and process production jobs, and monitor planned versus actual production.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with producers and suppliers to ensure consistent order confirmations and delivery times.
  • Contribute to New Product Development projects.
  • Provide Supplier SIFOT & DIFOT reporting, root cause analysis/insights and corrective measures.
  • Provide scheduled and accurate information to internal teams on supply issues.
  • Manage Supply Chain processes to achieve KPIs.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • 3+ years experience in manufacturing & distribution environments, ideally FMCG
  • Financial acumen
  • Strong Kaizen mindset
  • Experience using Slim4, JDA or similar
  • APICS CPIM qualification well regarded but not essential
