With continued growth in their events portfolio, they are now seeking a senior leader to drive strategic sales outcomes and brand presence.

Job Description

As General Manager, Sales & Events, you will lead the group's event sales strategy, with a strong focus on business development, relationship management, and market positioning. Overseeing a small, capable team, you will take ownership of both sales execution and leadership, working closely with the executive team to shape the future direction of the business.
  • Develop and lead an end-to-end sales strategy across all venues and accommodation offerings
  • Identify and secure new MICE, corporate, and high-value event opportunities
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, agencies, and key industry partners
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a small, high-performing sales and events team
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to drive cohesive commercial outcomes
  • Represent the group at industry events and in key commercial conversations
Candidate Profile

You are a results-driven sales leader with a strong background in corporate hospitality, MICE, or premium events. You excel in relationship-building, are commercially astute, and enjoy being part of a close-knit team where your contribution has a visible impact.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales leadership within hospitality or events
  • Proven success in driving revenue and building client networks in the corporate space
  • Strong knowledge of MICE, conferencing, and bespoke event execution
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing teams and working within senior leadership frameworks
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on ability to close business and deliver growth
Offer

A competitive remuneration package is on offer, along with the opportunity to be a key member of the executive leadership team within a growing and respected boutique group. This is a standout opportunity for a self-starter ready to take their career to the next level.
