The Role
The General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the venue, ensuring operational excellence across all departments while fostering a high-performing and engaged team culture. You will work closely with senior leadership to deliver strategic outcomes, maintain financial performance, and continue enhancing the guest experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full operational leadership of the venue
- Team development and leadership across FOH, BOH, and support staff
- Driving service and food quality to premium standards
- Overseeing financial performance, including labour, COGS, and revenue targets
- Collaborating with group operations and support functions on initiatives and improvements
You are a seasoned operator with experience leading high-profile, high-volume hospitality venues. You are commercially minded, emotionally intelligent, and passionate about people and food. You balance structure and creativity, and thrive in environments that are fast-paced, dynamic, and people-centric.
Ideal attributes:
- Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role within large-scale venues
- Strong food & beverage knowledge, with a passion for culinary-led operations
- Proven financial and operational acumen
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills
- Ability to relocate or travel regionally as required
