Client Profile
Our client is a long-established hospitality group with a reputation for operating some of the most iconic and high-performing venues in Queensland. This venue, situated in a prominent Brisbane location, is known for its historical significance, community connection, and dynamic food and beverage offering.

Job Description
The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of this landmark venue, leading a large team across multiple bars, dining spaces, and events areas. The successful candidate will focus on operational efficiency, staff development, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a visible leader with a deep understanding of hospitality and the ability to drive both service and commercial success.

  • Lead, inspire and develop a large and diverse team

  • Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and compliance

  • Collaborate with ownership on strategic initiatives and future growth

  • Ensure operational excellence across all departments

  • Manage financial performance and business reporting

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have experience managing large, multi-outlet venues and will demonstrate strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for hospitality. A background in community-focused venues or heritage locations will be advantageous.

  • Proven success in a senior venue management role

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Financial acumen and understanding of key business drivers

  • Ability to balance heritage with innovation in guest experience

  • Experience in team development and mentoring
