Job Description
The General Manager will take full operational and commercial responsibility for the venue, leading both the events and accommodation functions. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a strategic operator who can drive revenue, elevate service standards, and foster a high-performing team culture.
Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing end-to-end venue operations across weddings, events, and accommodation

Driving commercial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

Leading, mentoring, and developing a multidisciplinary team

Strengthening supplier, community, and stakeholder relationships

Identifying growth opportunities and enhancing the guest experience
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be an experienced hospitality leader with a strong background in premium events, boutique accommodation, or destination venues. You will bring both commercial acumen and an authentic leadership style suited to a regional lifestyle environment.
You will demonstrate:

Proven experience as a General Manager or senior venue leader

Strong financial management and revenue optimisation capability

Experience in weddings, events, or lifestyle-led hospitality environments

The ability to lead from the front and build engaged, service-driven teams

A desire to relocate or reside in a regional setting
