Job Description
As General Manager you will report to the CEO and Directors in overseeing the pre-opening and execution of a renovated multi-level venue that will be comprised of multiple bars and spaces that transform from an upmarket bar/pub during the day, to an entertainment-focused party venue in the evening. It will cater for a range of markets and demographics, and will include cutting-edge design, sound and lighting.You will build your food & beverage team, whilst overseeing an existing accommodation management team.
We are open to speaking with applicants with experience in leadership positions that demand a diverse skillset, specifically from within premium on-premise environments and high-volume settings. Having pre-opening experience is a bonus, but you do not need to have accommodation experience.
Candidate Profile
To be considered for this position, applicants will have:
- Experience as a General Manager in large format and high volume venues. This is a crucial element, should you wish to apply
- Exceptional commercial acumen and proven track record managing teams in excess of 100 people
- The ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- A strong passion for mentorship and building a team from the ground up
This role is offering a competitive package comprised of a generous base salary plus super. The role would see you working in the Brisbane 4006 area.
