Job Description
As Executive Chef, you will lead the culinary direction and kitchen operations across multiple outlets, with a focus on premium execution, seasonal produce, and a contemporary approach to Italian cuisine. Working closely with the Culinary Director, you will drive innovation, elevate standards, and ensure the venue continues to meet the expectations of a discerning clientele.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring an exceptional eye for detail, strong systems management, and the ability to inspire and develop a high-performance team. You will be responsible for maintaining hatted-level standards, overseeing food quality and presentation, driving cost control, managing suppliers, and upholding a positive, professional kitchen culture.
Candidate Profile
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Extensive experience as Executive Chef or Head Chef in hatted or fine dining environments
- Expertise in modern Italian or Mediterranean cuisine, with a focus on elegance and seasonality
- Proven ability to lead large kitchen brigades in high-volume, multi-outlet settings
- Strong creative vision, matched with a disciplined, detail-oriented approach
- Solid financial and operational acumen, with experience in labour and cost management
- Full Australian working rights
