Our client is a hospitality group operating multiple food venues across the Gold Coast and Brisbane. With a focus on operational consistency and quality food offerings, the business is entering a period of development and expansion across its portfolio.

Job Description
This Executive Chef role will oversee the culinary direction, food operations and financial performance across multiple venues located on the Gold Coast. The portfolio includes an established Mediterranean restaurant, a high-performing café operation and a new deli concept with a strong production focus. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role requiring proven experience across production-led environments or multi-venue operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading food operations and standards across restaurant, café and deli formats

  • Driving menu development and culinary direction across multiple concepts

  • Managing food cost control and financial performance across the venues

  • Overseeing labour budgets and workforce efficiency

  • Recruiting, training and developing teams to support multi-venue and production operations

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be an experienced Head Chef with a strong background in multi-venue operations and demonstrated success within production environments. You will combine commercial acumen with a hands-on leadership style and the ability to implement structure, systems and accountability.

Key attributes include:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef across multiple venues

  • Demonstrated experience leading production operations or high-volume preparation environments

  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on budget and cost control capability

  • Ability to design and implement efficient, scalable operational workflows

  • Background in café, deli or commercial production environments highly advantageous
