Job Description
The Executive Chef will lead all aspects of the resort's culinary operations, overseeing a talented brigade and delivering excellence across à la carte restaurants, in-room dining, functions, and special events. The successful candidate will be instrumental in evolving the food offering to align with the resort's luxury positioning and focus on regional, seasonal produce.
- Develop and execute innovative, high-end menus across all outlets
- Lead and mentor a diverse culinary team with a strong service culture
- Oversee kitchen operations, cost control, and supplier relationships
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategy and guest experience
- Uphold strict food safety and sustainability standards
The ideal candidate is an experienced Executive Chef with a background in luxury hotels or high-end resorts. They will demonstrate creative flair, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of fine dining in a premium leisure setting.
- Proven experience leading kitchens in 5-star or luxury environments
- Strong knowledge of Australian and international cuisine trends
- Excellent leadership, training, and communication skills
- A hands-on approach with high standards of presentation and consistency
- Experience managing large teams and multi-outlet operations
This role is offering a strong remuneration package comprised of an excellent base salary pending experience.
