As the Executive Chef for this iconic restaurant, you will be accountable for the strategic planning, design, development and execution of the restaurant's food philosophy
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring an exceptional eye for detail, strong systems management, and the ability to inspire and develop a high-performance team. You will be responsible for maintaining hatted-level standards, overseeing food quality and presentation, driving cost control, managing suppliers, and upholding a positive, professional kitchen culture.
Candidate Profile
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Extensive experience as Executive Chef or Head Chef and be able to maintain standards at a hatted level
- Expertise in modern Australia cuisine, with a focus on produce, technique and seasonality
- Ability to coach your team to ensure the delivery of best value quality services, effective forward planning, meeting of objectives, management of priorities and the appropriate delegation of responsibilities
- Drive a culture of open communication at all levels to create an environment where employees are engaged in business objectives and activities
- Strong creative vision, matched with a disciplined, detail-oriented approach
- Solid financial and operational acumen, with experience in labour and cost management
- Pre-opening experience highly desirable
- Full Australian working rights
