In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently running the kitchen across culinary direction, service, cost control and all aspects of day-to-day operations. You will work with the owners and existing team to ensure peak performance across general trade and the busy high season.
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience as a Senior Sous, Head Chef or Executive Chef in a recognised restaurant
- Impressive culinary knowledge- technical cooking - yet served in an uncomplicated way
- Self-motivation and the ability to work with accountability
- High food standards in both taste and presentation
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong financial acumen relevant to labour and cost-control
- A highly structured and organised approach, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Team player skills and leading by example
This role offers an above-market rate remuneration package that is dependent on the applicant's experience.
