Job Description

This is a true leadership role, requiring you to set the food culture across the establishment. The kitchen team of this group strives to be the best in all aspects of its operation, delivering a positive, inclusive and welcoming culture for colleagues and customers alike.

As the Head Chef of this amazing establishment, you will be accountable for delivering great, consistent food while maintaining a strong focus on variable cost controls. Furthermore, you will be responsible for hiring, training and developing your team to ensure their ability to succeed.

The culinary offering will be focused on local and fresh quality ingredients used in a creative manner on a menu that is plant-based. As the leader of the culinary program, you will work closely with the Culinary Director to continue the already stellar performance of the venue.

Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Strong understanding of budget management and financial acumen to control costs and maximize profitability
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and delivering outstanding results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members, management, and suppliers effectively
  • Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications are desirable
