Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for an Events Sales Executive to join the team at a high-profile coastal hotel. This role will manage a combination of reactive enquiries and proactive business development across the MICE, corporate and social events markets.
Working closely with operations and senior leadership, you will be responsible for converting inbound leads, generating new business opportunities and ensuring a seamless handover from sale to execution.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing and converting inbound event and conference enquiries

Proactively identifying and securing new corporate and MICE opportunities

Building relationships with event planners, local businesses and community groups

Preparing tailored proposals, contracts and event costings

Collaborating with operations to ensure successful delivery and repeat business
Candidate Profile
You are a driven and relationship-focused sales professional with experience in hotel or venue-based events. You enjoy balancing reactive sales with proactive business development and are motivated by targets and team success.
You will demonstrate:

Proven experience in events, conference or hotel sales

Strong understanding of MICE and social event markets

Commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and close

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
