Job Description

Reporting to the Area Manager, the Events & Activations Manager is responsible for developing and supporting a group-wide events and activations strategy that drives footfall, customer engagement and commercial outcomes. This role partners closely with Operations, Marketing and Food and Beverage teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand experiences across selected strategic venues, with the ability to scale successful concepts across the broader portfolio. This role can be based in Sydney or Brisbane.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering immersive in-venue events and experiential activations aligned to key trading moments

  • Owning and managing an annual events and activations calendar across priority venues

  • Building and nurturing commercial partnerships with suppliers, brands and entertainment providers

  • Supporting venue teams with end-to-end event planning, logistics and on-the-ground execution

  • Managing event budgets, tracking performance metrics and reporting on ROI and customer engagement

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a commercially minded events professional with a strong background in hospitality or in-venue activations. They are creative yet operationally grounded, comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, and driven by delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key attributes include:

  • Minimum three years’ experience in hospitality, events, experiential marketing or agency environments

  • Proven ability to plan and execute high-impact, customer-focused events

  • Strong partnership development and stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent communication, project management and organisational capability

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure, optimise and report on event performance

  • Solid digital fluency and understanding of modern marketing channels
