Job Description
The Community & Events Manager will oversee the coordination and execution of key events, marketing initiatives, and community partnerships. This role combines operational leadership with creative event management, ensuring seamless delivery of experiences that strengthen brand loyalty and community presence. The position operates during standard office hours, offering a balanced and structured work schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver venue and community events
- Manage front office operations including guest enquiries, membership systems, and reception standards
- Build and maintain relationships with community networks, suppliers, and media contacts
- Report insights and trends to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Monitor event budgets and ensure all activities are delivered within scope
- Contribute to venue social media strategies and ensure online content reflects the guest experience
The ideal candidate will have a background in event management, hospitality operations, or marketing, with a passion for creating engaging community experiences. They will demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
Key Requirements include:
- Experience in events, marketing, or venue operations
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Proven capacity to plan and deliver projects to deadline and budget
- Creative thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and initiative
