Job Description
This is a unique opportunity for two experienced Chef de Cuisines to join a newly established culinary structure at a high-profile racing and events venue. Working closely with the Executive Chef, you will play a key role in shaping menus, leading production, and delivering exceptional food experiences across race days and a growing conference and events portfolio.
- Lead kitchen operations across race days and event service
- Drive menu planning, costing, and seasonal development
- Manage and mentor a small team of chefs and casual staff
- Oversee preparation, production, and service execution
- Contribute to building a high-performing, cohesive team in a new operational phase
Candidate Profile
You are a strong culinary leader with a background in premium restaurants or high-end dining environments. You thrive in structured, fast-paced settings and bring a hands-on approach to leadership, with a passion for quality and consistency.
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Senior Sous Chef in premium venues
- Background in well-regarded restaurants or high-end dining operations
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing small teams
- Skilled in menu development, food costing, and high-volume service execution
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to succeed in a newly established environment
Offer
This role offers a standout opportunity to achieve work/life balance in a premium hospitality setting, with predominantly daytime hours and limited evening service, alongside a salary of $110,000 plus super.
