Hastings People are growing and we are looking for experienced, well-presented, and reliable event staff, bartenders, and section waiters to join our talented team.
We can offer work across a variety of clients and venues and businesses such as catering, cafes, restaurants, and events centres across the greater Brisbane area.
Ideal candidates must have the ability to work independently and have the desire to go above & beyond, be able to multi-task, have a positive can-do attitude, and be a team player.
About you:
- Exceptional customer service
- Previous experience in a premium dining environment
- Previous experience in an event environment such as banquets, canapes, and tray service
- Bartending or cocktail making experience
- A la carte table service experience
- Barista experience
- Previous experience with different POS systems and cash handling
- Flexible work rosters - Pick and choose the shifts that suit your schedule and your location
- Get paid the correct award rates including penalty rates weekly
- Grow your experience and skills by getting exposure to a variety of environments
- A minimum of 6 months experience working in a comparable role in high-end restaurants, fast-paced bars, or event environments
- Excellent communication and listening skills coupled with a positive, can-do attitude
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- RSA qualifications which are mandatory for these roles
- The ability to display a high level of confidence and adaptability
- Legal working rights in Australia
