Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Bookkeeper will play a key role in supporting daily financial operations and ensuring accuracy across all accounts. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and taking ownership of their responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant awards
- Reconciling bank accounts and preparing monthly reports
- Supporting budgeting and cash flow management
- Assisting with financial processes to support venue operations
The ideal candidate will bring solid bookkeeping experience, ideally within hospitality or a similarly dynamic environment. You will be organised, proactive, and confident working both independently and as part of a small team.
Key attributes include:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- A passion for hospitality and supporting business success
