Our client is a fast-growing hospitality group with a diverse portfolio of venues and a reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences. With continued expansion planned, the business requires a capable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join the team at its North Sydney office.

Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Bookkeeper will play a key role in supporting daily financial operations and ensuring accuracy across all accounts. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and taking ownership of their responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant awards
  • Reconciling bank accounts and preparing monthly reports
  • Supporting budgeting and cash flow management
  • Assisting with financial processes to support venue operations
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring solid bookkeeping experience, ideally within hospitality or a similarly dynamic environment. You will be organised, proactive, and confident working both independently and as part of a small team.

Key attributes include:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • A passion for hospitality and supporting business success
