Our client operates a bustling, large and multi-faceted venue on the fringe of the city, which attracts a wide range clientele. It is renowned as a stalwart in the local area, a flagship for the company, and boasts several strong revenue drivers. 

The group operates a wide array of venues across Sydney. They are well known for their focus on people, culture and community.

An opportunity has recently arisen for a strong Assistant Venue Manager to join the leadership team to help drive the passionate staff and oversee all operational aspects in this venue. 

Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams in a busy setting. You must be a true lover of all things food and beverage, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences. The venue is highly successful, with strong trade across lunch, dinner and into the evening with a strong entertainment program. 

This role will see you responsible for all facets of the business including daily operations, driving positive culture, people management, experience and product delivery. 

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Experience as a Venue Manager or Assistant Venue Manager in a large format, dynamic venue spanning food, beverage, gaming and entertainment.
  • Exceptional management skills with clear leadership capabilities.
  • The ability to cultivate a high-performance culture and develop future leaders.
  • Complete understanding of regulatory compliance across food, beverage, and licensing.
  • High-level stakeholder management and engagement.
