Job Description
The Assistant Venue Manager will work closely with the Venue Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, with a particular focus on food service, restaurant standards and overall guest experience. This role suits a hospitality professional who understands the rhythm of a busy, food-driven venue and can confidently lead a floor during peak service periods.
You will play a key role in ensuring the restaurant operation runs smoothly while supporting the broader venue team to deliver consistent service and a welcoming neighbourhood atmosphere.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading service on the floor with a strong focus on restaurant standards and guest experience

Supporting rostering, team supervision and service leadership across food-led periods

Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow and product quality

Assisting with venue operations including opening, closing and daily management duties

Contributing to staff training and maintaining a positive, professional team culture
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will bring a strong food and service background within quality hospitality environments. This may suit an Assistant Venue Manager from a premium gastro-pub or an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager looking to transition into a broader venue leadership role.
You will be confident managing busy services, supporting a team on the floor and maintaining high hospitality standards.
