Job Description
The Assistant Venue Manager will partner closely with the Venue Manager to oversee daily operations and maintain consistently high service standards across all departments. This position requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-driven environment and can motivate a diverse team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting all front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service delivery
- Leading, training and developing staff to uphold strong service standards
- Maintaining venue presentation, compliance and operational procedures
- Assisting with rostering, stock management and financial performance
- Contributing to a positive, community-focused culture across the venue
The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality professional with a strong service background, either from a restaurant or pub environment. You will be confident leading teams, engaging guests and supporting operational systems in a busy venue.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Proven management experience in quality hospitality venues
- A strong guest-first mindset and passion for service excellence
- Ability to lead teams during peak periods with calm and consistency
- Solid understanding of venue operations and compliance requirements
