About the Role

Heavily focused on staff training and progression the group has quickly proven itself to be one of the leading and most desirable employers in the industry.
With ongoing expansion planned for 2022 and beyond, our client is looking for a skilled, hands-on manager with a passion for food & beverage as well as guest & community engagement to manage the day-to-day operations and team leadership within this celebrated Eastern Sydney location.

The Assistant Venue Manager is the key point of contact for all operations of the venue. Building and maintaining your team to a high standard of knowledge and service, and maintaining the highest expectation of guest experience and management. The ongoing success of the venue will depend on the application of true management and leadership skills. The ability to make creative decisions in the structure of service, as well as product offering, is a must. It will be fundamental to the role to generate excitement and return business by the atmosphere brought into the venue by the Assistant Venue Manager.


The ideal candidate for the role will have;
  • 2 plus years experience in a similar management role
  • Extensive experience & knowledge in food and beverage
  • The ability to manage a large number of staff and patrons
  • Creative thinking, adaptability and initiative
  • A passion for hospitality and guest experience
  • Ongoing desire to mentor and grow your team through frequent training and hands-on application
  • A willingness to learn and desire to work alongside other facets of the overall business
  • Experience in functions and events
